| Mark Schults wraparound dust jacket cover |
Published in November 2013 by Dark Horse (ISBN 978-1-61655-228-2, cover price 150$), this über hardcover book (8.5 x 12.5 inches or 22 x 32 cm, more than 10 kg for 1264 pages) comes with a glossy fully illustrated dust jacket. A picture below is here for size comparison with original issue #1.
The inner covers of the book are also fully illustrated (from original comics virgin covers), as well as the second and third of cover (notice the red bookmark ribbon). The book is printed on mat quality paper, edited by Philip R. Simon and designed by Justin Couch.
After a few credits pages, there is 4 pages introduction written by Kurt Busiek exclusive to this edition and illustrated by Cary Nord sketches.
All 51 issues are presented chronologically with their virgin covers and a detailed credit page.

ReplyDeleteHello. I think that this book is currently out of print (OOP) on main usual retailers. And my recommandations will also depends on where you live. Have you check the dedication section of this blog ("where to buy these expensive books?" on the upper right)? My best bet however will be ebay for the time being (Dark Horse reprint many of their collected edition over time).

ReplyDeleteYou dick. Some people can't find a copy and you've got a spare one in the wrapper to do what? Make a profit out of later? People like you are what's srong with the world.
DeleteWell I had it on eBay for EXACTLY what I paid for it, but nobody bought it! Guess I paid TOO MUCH. NO PROFIT AT ALL! And I'm not going to take a loss, I'll leave it to my kids before I do that.
