The article related to this edition is finally finished!
Story-wise and art-wise, I have really enjoyed these books. The finished set also looks pretty good, and Jim Lee's pencil covers are beautiful. But in terms of extras, the digital edition of the single issues is in my opinion the true collector's edition.
This blog is about my personal collection of deluxe/absolute/limited comics editions, especially those from my favorite authors and artists: Pat Mills, Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Mike Mignola, Joss Whedon, Brian K. Vaughan, Kevin O'Neill and Bill Sienkiewicz.

Articles Update September 2016 part 1
Dark Knight III The Master Race series is accumulating delays, and now issue #6 in its collector's form will not be published until November. In the meantime the associated article have been updated with issue #5.
This collection became a deception. Since issue #4 there are only 23 pages instead of 28 for the main story. In the digital edition this was partly compensate by adding 4 pencil art pages, and the five variant covers. In this so-called collector's edition there is nothing like that.
