Sláine Time Killer & The King Classic Deluxe Hardcover

These books are presented by order of publication date.

Sláine The King

Script by Pat Mills and Angie Kincaid (ex Mills), Art by Mike McMahon, Glenn Fabry & Anthony Williams (B&W).

Published in February 2002 by 2000AD/Titan Books (ISBN 1-84023-416-4, cover price 19.99£), this canvas hardcover book ( 8.8 x 11.9 inches or 22,5 x 30,2 cm) comes with the Titan Books "Classic" hardcover collection style dust jacket (see picture at the end of the article). This edition is compared below to the recent Rebellion reprint (but they don't share the same content).

The book, printed on thin glossy paper, features 138 pages of early Sláine  stories :
"Warrior's Dawn"
"Sky Chariots"
"Sláine The King"
"The Killing Fields" (scripted by Angie Kincaid Mills)
"Sláine The Mini-Series"

Note that in this edition, the later two stories are credited as "He Did Not Think It Too Many" (prog#582 and #589-592 but it's a mistake because there is no Sláine material in prog #592).
Also note that the over hardcover descripted further has to be read before "Sláine The King" story.

After an uncredited short presentation of the character, there is a 2 pages introduction written by Pat Mills dated November 2001, a glossary/table of content page, the Land of The Young map and a McMahon pin-up introducing "Sky Chariots" (and that's it for the extras).
